Bill Hall is serving District 24-F
as Governor for 2008-09
 Governor Bill Hall has been a Lion for 45 years and has perfect attendance for the entire time.
He is serving his second term as District Governor, having served in District 24-E from the Christiansburg club in 1977-78. As Governor
started two new Lions Clubs; Blue Ridge and Smith Mountain Lake. The prior year he formed the Floyd Club and served as guiding line for a year. At the time of his election he was the first District Governor to ever serve from Montgomery County and was the youngest person to hold that high office.
Governor Hall is a retired newspaper Publisher and has been a member of Lions Clubs in Radford, Christiansburg, Batesville, IN, Orange, Richlands, Bristol and now the Rural Retreat Club.
He has served these clubs by holding every office from President to tail twister.
On the district level, he has served as a Zone Chairman, Deputy District Governor and a number of state committees and State Convention committees. He is a 3-time Key Lion for sponsoring new members, received the International extension award for forming new clubs, was a 100% Club President, a 100% District Governor for meeting all the criteria set by Lions Clubs International. He has received several District Governor appreciation awards and this past year was awarded the MD24 VA Council of Governors Distinguished service award.
He is a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and resides in Crockett with his wife, Lion Cabinet Secretary Priscilla M Hall. They have four children and seven grandchildren.
